The last two years I've really practiced what I preach around "slowing down as a way of waking up". What about you?
Historically, I've approached the end of the year with fatigue and overwhelm, feeling drained yet driven to check as many things off my list as possible. >eek< Does that sound familiar?Â
This year, though, as 2022 winds down, I feel rested and ready and my vision for the future feels grounded and glowing.
The last few years have been quite a test for many of us and while I don't expect 2023 to be a sunny walk in the park, I know we've learned a lot, separately and collectively.
Here at my kitchen table, writing you now, I feel an energy shifting, a groundswell that’s kinder, gentler, safer, more steady. I sense it in my gut and in broader culture— both in words and actions. It’s almost palpable in the air.
Know this: here at Foster & Flourish, I'm working smart (notice I didn't say hard) to bring many years of jelling ideas and inklings into fruition for 2023. I've had moments of wanting to rush the process, but ultimately chose to be more nurturing and sensitive, helping rather than forcing the unfolding to happen.
And know this. However you're feeling, wherever you are in your life and body, I'm beaming you wishes of liberation and happiness.

1-to-1 bookings open through Dec 23.  If you want to work with me 1: 1 this year, you still have a few weeks to get started. Buy packages and book any remaining sessions as spots are limited. If you've not worked with me in 2022, book here.Â
I'm also currently scheduling January-April 2023. Due to growth and demand, 1: 1 prices will increase in 2023, however, you can book Jan-Apr singles and packages through the end of December at current prices and wait to begin meeting in the new year.
2023 VISIONS
Look out for Vagus Nerve offerings. The Vagus Nerve isn't a single nerve but a cluster of nerves uniting the brain, heart and gut. Needless to say, this nerve cluster is a pretty important key to our wellbeing. Polyvagal theory is the map of how the Vagus Nerve operates and how we can work with it to befriend our nervous system. Next year, I'll offer an introduction as well as opportunities for deeper practice and real-life implementation.
New coaching options that will serve 1: 1 clients even more effectively and meaningfully in 2023. You show up with a list of things to work on for 1 intensive day, 1 month or 3 months. For the 1 and 3 month options, we meet virtually every 2 weeks, with consistent email check-ins between. We deep dive, make space for emergence. We strategize, prioritize, create timelines, whatever needs to be done to help you move forward intentionally, grounded and glowing in your vision.
A number of 2022 offerings will return in updated forms, including Human Movement, The Somatics of Yoga and The Anatomy of Action. (NOTE: These 3 links are from last year's offerings, included here only for your reference.) There will also be SOMATIC PSOAS offerings, possibly even in combo with the Vagus Nerve.
