A bit about me. I’m Tina, the writer of Foster & Flourish newsletter. I work with the body as a verb, a way to listen from the neck down and live into deep places. I’m curiosity-driven and creative, an experimenter and change-shaper by both nature and nurture. I live in San Francisco with my partner Pat who is a surfer, musician and lawyer. Though I rarely lead with official-sounding titles, here are a few that help convey where my writing comes from: I’m trained as a movement therapist & teacher, a meditation-based coach and a somatic worker.
Foster & Flourish is a place for care and curiosity. It’s a deep space I’ve held for a long time that has multiple incarnations including a newsletter that I’ve written for 17 years. These days the newsletter comes out 2-3 times a month. All posts are free for everyone. There’s also a paid option for those who have found benefit and/or want to support my writing and the work I do. Join me in learning to listen from the neck down.
I also write a monthly newsletter focused on the vagus nerve & polyvagal theory. It’s called WANDERING AROUND VAGUS. Each post comes out on the 5th of each month. Paid subscribers also can attend quarterly, 2-hour classes where we practice the work outlined in the monthly posts.
